The Bridgman name has been associated with the making of furniture for over half a century, dating back to the 1950s. The company established itself as a quality maker of wooden furniture and over the years has designed, produced and sold a wide variety of furniture.
We offer a heavy duty 3.5m dia. round cantilever umbrella with natural fabric and a domestic 3.0m dia. round cantilever umbrella with natural or green fabric. This style of umbrella is for use at the side of our furniture, or other places where shade is required.
The 3.5m umbrella utilises large sections of aluminium and is finished in a champagne colour and is supplied with a heavy duty natural colour canopy. The 3m has a lightweight aluminium frame finished in grey and comes with a lightweight canopy in natural or green fabric. Both umbrellas are adjustable and can be positioned horizontally or at various angles to suit the particular need, and can easily be wound up and down.
A 4.5m free standing Awning is available to cover large dining sets or where a large shaded area is required. The awning can easily be opened with the winding handle and is adjustable to three different heights.
The frame is mainly made from Champagne coloured powder coated steel tube. The cover is made from a heavy duty fabric and is supplied in a natural colour. To prolong the life and appearance of this Awning, it should be dismantled and stored away during the winter months.
The umbrellas and awning must only be used with suitable ballast to hold down the base. We suggest using 4 flagstones, 45cm x 45cm x 5cm with a weight of 20kg each.
These are not supplied with the umbrella or awning, and must be purchased separately (they are readily available at most garden centres and builders merchants). Cantilever umbrellas and awnings must never be left up at night or erected in breezy conditions, and must always be safely anchored.
