After months of preparation, our commercial team are set to pack their bags and jet off to Dubai where Bridgman has its first-ever exhibition stand at The Leisure Show this September. Here’s why…
It’s an exciting time for the commercial arm here at Bridgman as we gear up for our first time exhibiting at The Leisure Show held in the Dubai World Trade Centre between September 17th and 19th. We can’t wait to showcase our beautiful collection of quality outdoor furniture for the hotel, spa and restaurant industries and forge new relationships with key decision makers and buyers on a global platform.
We have been supplying top quality furniture to hospitality businesses and commercial customers for decades. Now, we are eager to build on this success and reach out to even more hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafes, resorts and leisure destinations around the world and show how our stylish, comfortable and durable furniture – be it in rattan, teak or aluminium – can enhance their business premises.
If you’re not up to speed on The Leisure Show, here’s a bitesize guide to all-you-need-to-know:
1 Visitors come thick and fast from all sectors of the industry – hotels, leisure resorts, health clubs, water parks and fitness centres to name but a few – with the opportunity to network with designers, architects, owners, developers and other departmental managers.
2 It’s the most important industry trade event in the Middle East and Africa region where key decision makers can source new products, meet international suppliers and gather industry trends.
3 There are exhibitors from every key sector of the leisure industry including outdoor lighting & furniture (that’s us!), sports & fitness, recreational fun & adventure and pool & spa.
4 And exhibitors come from all over the globe, not only from the United Arab Emirates but China, United States, Spain, Greece, Italy and Australia (last year there were 30 exhibiting countries). We are proud to say that Bridgman is just one of two exhibitors from the United Kingdom who will be displaying at the 2016 show.
5 In 2015, the three-day event attracted almost 4,500 visitors. That’s a massive amount of traffic to get our products in front of.
6 This influential event is a great sales tool for the leisure industry and last year US£3.1m value of orders were placed at the show alone.
Have you ever visited The Leisure Show in Dubai? Or any other similar trade event? We’d love to hear about your experiences.
