PART-TIME SALES ASSISTANTS | VARIOUS LOCATIONS

Bridgman is a leading quality, luxury furniture retailer with a 45-year heritage in British design. Bridgman’s vision is to move away from solely garden furniture but create a presence within and around the home year-round.


Working independently, the Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the Showroom Manager with daily operations of the showroom, upholding Bridgman’s standards and ensuring that each customer visiting our showroom enjoys a 5-star experience. Also situated within the showrooms is the concession Snug, and the showroom manager will additionally interact and close sales with these customers.


This is a part-time role, working 2 days a week pro-rata.

 

We have Showroom Assistant roles available in: Royal Tunbridge Wells, Winchester, Waloton-on-Thames, Amersham and Wilmslow.

 

Responsibilities and Duties include:

    • Reporting to and working closely with the Showroom Manager.
    • Managing an end-to-end sales process.
    • Complete daily reports, along with ad-hoc reports when required.
    • Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally, and consistently with store policy.
    • Liaising with key stakeholders within the business.
    • Support with managing the showroom space and visual merchandising; adhering to brand guidelines.
    • Upselling key items to customers.
    • Professional retail experience in a sales advisor or supervisory position.
    • Approachable and a role model who leads by example and encourages teamwork and fosters a positive attitude and atmosphere in the workplace.
    • A brand ambassador with in-depth product knowledge.

 

Key Skills:

    • Experience managing a store independently.
    • Luxury sales experience.

This is a part-time role, working 2 days a week pro-rata. You will be required to work any additional hours and cover any annual leave for the showroom (as and when requested by the Regional Showroom Manager).

GRAPHIC DESIGNER | ENFIELD

  • Bridgman, renowned for its prestigious furniture offerings, proudly carries a 46-year tradition rooted in British design brilliance. Expanding beyond garden furniture, Bridgman seeks to establish a continuous presence within homes and their surroundings throughout the year.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team. The role will suit someone with similar experience working as a creative. Working to tight deadlines and able to support the marketing team with design projects from start to finish in line with the brand guidelines.

 

Responsibilities and Duties include:

    • ·     Working as a Graphic Designer, you will efficiently take on graphic design projects from inception to delivery and complete them promptly.

      ·        You must manage briefs to tight deadlines; this includes Commercial and Retail.

      ·        You are in charge of managing and organising a catalogue of a wide range of brand assets.

      ·        You will be proactive and think ahead of the curve with graphic design trends.

      ·        Have an excellent understanding of the printing processes and specifications

      ·        You will communicate new design perspectives and ideas to the wider marketing team. Working collaboratively with the Brand Manager.

      ·        Keep on top of trends and collaborate on key projects in the business both on the retail and commercial side.

      ·        Must have key skills such as video editing & illustration skills (with Premiere & After Effects)

      ·        Acquire relevant skillsets in 3D Modelling, Visuals & Rendering (using Rhino7/Sketchup)

      ·        You must follow Bridgman’s tone of voice and make sure your work is in line with Bridgman's brand.

 

Key Skills:

·   Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

·   Proven track record in delivering innovative graphic design

·   Self-motivated with a can-do attitude

 ·   Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple project

·    Excellent communication skills and ability to work to deadlines.

RETAIL STORE MANAGER | ENFIELD

Working independently, the Retail Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the showroom, upholding Bridgman’s standards and ensuring that each customer visiting our showroom enjoys a 5-star experience. Also situated within the showrooms is the concession of our sister brand Snug, and the manager will additionally interact and close sales with these customers

 

OTE £45k +

Contract: Permanent or FTC

Location: Brimsdown, Enfield (North London)

DELIVERY DRIVER | ENFIELD

Bridgman is a leading quality, luxury furniture retailer with a 45-year heritage in British design. Bridgman’s vision is to move away from solely garden furniture but create a presence within and around the home year-round.

 

We are looking for a Delivery Driver to work for us on a 6-month temporary contract. Working 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has worked as a Driver in a warehouse setting.

 

Hourly rate: £13.50-£14 per hour

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Bridgman's furniture is delivered to customers in perfect condition
  • Collecting deliveries from the warehouse and delivering them to customer
  • Making sure deliveries are packed correctly and taken care of when handling products
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Ensuring all goods are labelled and stored correctly
  • Complete stock checks as instructed by the warehouse manager
  • Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
  • Always follow health and safety guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns

 

Key Skills

  • Must be comfortable in a physical role
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive and navigate through various locations and routes
  • A team player
  • Prioritize the safety of of yourself and those around you
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
